I started character art for a story idea I had. I’m not sure what final medium I will choose for my story, but making the characters has been a nice visual aid.
I have been painting the characters in Adobe Photoshop with multiple layers that pertain to an accessory. This allows me to create multiple headpieces and clothing on one body.

The Second Character is a bit more interesting. She is an Egyptian Priestess, so I’ve been researching Ancient Egyptian Fashion and Jewelry to see how this would influence my character. I also did a simple color test.
